Boys indoor track was eliminated in 1981 due to fiscal constraints. When the program was re-introduced in 1985 Dwight Estey was hired as the head coach for the both boys' and girls' indoor track programs. Charlie Ayotte became assistant to both programs.

Record 4-3-1 Twenty-one athletes joined the program in its' first season back. At the league meet NA placed 3rd edging King Philip by 1.5 points. The strongest event for both boys and girls was the high jump. On the boys side NA outscored opponents 40-22 and the girls just missed white-washing opponents, outscoring them 62-1. Doug Gazaille was selected all-Hock in high jump, was the leading scorer at 64 points and went on to place 5th in the Class C meet at 6'0"..

Record 1-5 Thirty athletes struggled through a rebuilding year as three of the losses were by six points or less. High jump, shot put and hurdles were the only events in which they outscored opponents. David Marcotte set a new hurdle record at 6.7. The shuttle hurdle team set a new relay record with Pell, Clancy, Puccio and Masrcotte at 27.4 and the 4X800 established the record of 9:12.7 with Toole, Hayes, Beard and Pestana. Marcotte easily led all scorers with 67.33 points.

Record 6-2 Mike Redding took over as head coach. Sprints were the key to an improved season as the 50Yd and 300 Yd. dashes were dominant. Junior Rob Pell led all scorers at 72 points with Capt. Chris Paradis chipping in 70.25. Both captains gained All-Hock status, Hayes in the 1000Yd (league meet 2:29.4)and Paradis in the 50. Pell lowered the hurdle record to 6.7 and Paradis lowered the 55M to 6.5.
1988 Kevin Hanley and Mike Pestana Coach : Mike Redding
Record 5-1 Thirty-four members joined the team with half of them being seniors. Speed was again a strong point as Rob Pell (50HH) and Steve Carter (300Yd.) received All-Hock honors. Pell also had a best in shot of 44'6 and placed third in the Class C hurdles at 6.46. Carter placed 2nd at the Class C meet at 32.4 and was #1 in New England. He was also nationally ranked with a 31.91 FAT, run at the State Coaches Invitational. NA placed third in the league meet. Pell led all scorers at 83.5 points with Carter netting 52.5. The 4X4 record was broken with a 3:39.0 effort by Pestana, Hartford, Rejo and Carter.
1995   Coach : Jason Gittle
Record 8-0 After an exciting two-point victory over King Philip to start the season, NA rolled over the remaining competition. They went on to capture the league dual meet and league meet championships. Phil Allessi outdueled Shawn Earle to win the high jump with a school and meet record 6'9. Latif Thomas just edged Brian Stanislas in the 300 34.6 to 34.7. Jason McNamara was shot champ at 46'10. In an exciting finish Ethan Estey was down 1/2 lap in the mile with less than two laps to go when he put on a sprint catching Steve King at the tape 4:40.7 to 4:40.9. Also the relay of Thomas, Beith, Feid and Estey won the 4X400. In the Class B meet Allessi (2nd-HJ-6'6 and 3rd-60YDH-8.06), Thomas (4th-300YD-32.7) and Estey (3rd-1000-2:22.9) all placed well.
