North Attleboro unveiled their new course. The entire course now resides on school property. Runners no longer run on roads, sidewalks or parking lots. But a steady rain made the course extremely slippery, the first time this year that athletes faced adverse conditions.

In her last high school tri-meet senior captain Jenna Banks put the pedal to the medal despite the slippery conditions. She passed through the mile mark at 6:05 and never looked back.

The trio of Sara Krasney, Stephanie McNamara and Marrah Fry stayed together through two miles (6:33 at the mile) and finished in the next three spots.

C. Doherty of Canton held off NA frosh Katie Czeipel in a close battle for 5th. Czeip had a PR of nearly a minute and is rounding into shape just in time for the league championship. After Canton's C. Krueger finished in 7th, NA's Kate Noll placed 8th in another big PR.

Stoughton's first runner across the line was Cara Stanley in 24:43.

Djerica Lamousnery rounded out the NA placements with a PR of 29:33

North's next meet will be the Hockomock League Championships at Borderland Park on October 22nd.
