The team of 58 athletes started off with a thrilling one point victory over Mansfield to give Coach Estey his 200th career win in girls spring track. After a Muscato Relays win the team went on to post a 7-0 mark before losing their final dual meet 80-56 vs. Franklin. Along the way freshman Adrienne Goldberg broke the freshman 200M record posting a 26.6. At the state coaches invitational Caitlin Hurley placed in the 100M dash before joining with Kellyn Kearney, Jen Deschenes and Leah Seward to win the 4X100. That team went on to defend their Class B State Relays and Hockomock League Meet titles. They also placed 2nd at Class B, 5th at State Finals and 8th at New Englands. Their 49.99 FAT at state finals was #3 all-time. At Class B the 4X200 team of Hurley, Seward, Goldberg and Jen McNamara also defended their first and missing the school record by .2 seconds. The long jump relay of Kearney, Seward and Deschenes won and shattered the long jump school record set in 1981. Besides the 4X1 relay victory at Hocks Kearney won the long jump and Hurley won 100M for the third consecutive time. Along with the Hurley, Deschenes, Kearney and Seward, Rachel Valcourt gained all-Hock honors. Hurley went on to win the Class B meet for the second time while soph Jen McNamara (3rd-100MH) and Leah Seward (4th - 200M and 5th - TJ) placed and earned a berth at State Finals. Other highlights included NA hosting the Class B Relays for the second consecutive year, Caitlin Hurley finishing the season #17 all-time in scoring and Leah Seward joining the Century Club with a team leading 143 points. Leah was also named team MVP. Besides her strong point total she led the team in triple jump at 33'9 and 400M at 60.3. Her 100M (12.8), 200M (26.4) and LJ (16'.05) were all #2 on the team.
