Foxboro and Stoughton = no score

North Attleboro relied on a host of PR's to garner their lowest team total since 1994. Leading the way was meet runner-up, senior captain Jenna Banks who pr'd by exactly a minute and a half over last year. She was a mere 8 seconds off the pace of league champion Emily Tran of Sharon. Jenna's time was NA's 4th fastest on the Borderland Park course since 1984, the furthest back that accurate team records were kept. The Borderland Park course has been essentially the same since that time.

North's other top 10 finisher, sophomore Sara Krasney placed 7th. Her time places her 9th on the all-time list. She is only the third sophomore from North to break 18 minutes on the course. She improved by over a minute from last year.

In her first time running this course, junior Stephanie McNamara placed 14th, at a time that places her 10th on the all-time list. Only one place back was junior transfer Marrah Fry who also joined the NA top 25 list with 13th place on the Borderland list. One of the big keys to North's drastic improvement was her ability to close the gap on NA's leaders, narrowing a usual 1 minute gap to just 8 seconds behind McNamara.

Another big key was the tremendous improvement of freshman Katie Czepiel. Based on dual meet results, Katie should have expected to place between 40th and 50th. But the last dual meet and recent practices showed that she was ready for a breakthrough. Her 28th place was a huge improvement, the results of running one of North's fastest-ever frosh times.

Katie Noll also had a big day of improvement, placing 42nd with a 1.09 PR over last year. Djerica Lamousnery was the final North runner, placing 60th.
