North continued to show improvement at the Hockomock League Invitational. Coming off a great performance one week ago, there was a chance for a letdown. But 6 of 7 still PR'd and the team placed third behind Franklin and Marshfield. Oliver Ames was 4th.

Jenna Banks led the charge with a PR 16:53, good enough for third place. That moves her up to 3rd on the NA all-time list. Running stride for stride with Emily Tran, she opened up a 6 second lead over the last half mile to avenge last week's loss to the Hock Champ.

Sara Krasney (17:36) and Steph McNamara (17:46) both medaled, placing 13th and 16th in PR times. McNamara's improvement was by nearly half a minute.

Marrah Fry placed 45th in 18:43. Only 5 teams sported a higher 4th place finisher.

Katie Czepiel rounded out the scoring in 60th (19:03), also producing a PR time.

North's final two finishers were Katie Noll, 92nd, 20:11 and Djerica Lamousnery (140-23:23)

North's next contest is at the new course at Wrentham State School.
