Indoors '07

 

300M Dash

 

Sophomore Lauren Goldberg sets a significant PR at 44.94 and places 24 th .

 

Kristen McLoughlin placed 9 th in 43.47.

 

Mile

 

Senior Marrah Fry placed 33 with a time of 5:54.58

 

600M

 

Katy Flannery set a PR of 1:47.20 to place 17 th . This is her first state meet effort in this event, moving up from her usual spot in the 300M.

 

Amanda Parker placed 3 rd in 1:39.48 (her second-best time ever). Last year she was 6 th . This is her first time qualifying for state finals in an individual event. She later placed in the 4X4.

 

Two Mile

 

Stephanie McNamara broke her own school record running 11:31.91. She placed 6 th and moves on to state finals.

 

55M Dash

 

Kathleen Hennessey places 13 th in 7.76. Perhaps the placement is significant as injuries hampered her near the end of the season. “Tooti” ends up 5 th on NA's carrer scoring list indoors.

 

Sophomore Julianne Cappadona sets a new PR of 7.79 placing 15 th overall.

 

55M Hurdles

 

Frosh Christy Deininger was off her PR of 9.10 running a 9.62 for 17 th . Alix Vandeventer stumbled off the second hurdle, finishing in a disappointing 10.76, well off her 9.30 PR.

 

Shot Put

 

Kelsey Achin placed 7 th in 32'3.25”

 

Liz Malone was 23 rd in 29'3.5”

 

4 X 800

 

The team of Katie Czepiel, Marrah Fry, Kaylyn Houde and Stephanie McNamara placed 20 th in 10:56.52. Katie had the fastest split in 2:38 while Kaylyn ran 2:42 in her first attempt at that distance.

 

4X200

 

The team of Alix Vandeventer, Julianne Cappadona, Lauren Goldberg and Christy Deininger placed 13 th out of 25 teams in 1:52.24. Three of the members had never run in the 4X2 before this meet.

 

4 X 400M

 

The team of Katy Flannery, Amanda Parker, Stephanie McNamara and Kristen McLoughlin placed 4 th . Their time of 4:09.34 missed their own school record by .01

 

McNamara and Parker received their second medals of the day.

North Attleboro scored 11 points as a team, Parker accounting for 7 of those points.
