At the Bay State Invitational - Franklin Park, perpetual motion machine Sara Krasney (13:36.2)   provided the lead performance and brought home NA's only medal of the day. In all, four North Attleboro runners participated in the 1.9 mile D1 freshman race. Krasney opened up with her fastest ever mile posting a 6:58. At that point she was in 26 th position. She used Bear Cage Hill to her advantage passing twelve runners, some each on both the uphill and downhill.

 

Katie Noll (61 st – 15:14.8) paced the remaining trio. Teammates Amanda Beaupre (67 th – 15:26.6) and Jena Beraldi (93 rd – 16:17.8) each posted their fastest opening mile of the year. There were 124 total runners.

 

North Attleboro also sent three runners to the line in the 3.1 mile varsity race. In her first ever Franklin Park race junior Jenna Banks led the team at 21.32.7 – 61st (opening mile = 6:25). Her time is among the fastest NA has run in the past three years. Just a little back was senior captain Ashley Willox (22:05.3 – 83 rd ) . Rounding out the team was sophomore Abby Brunelle (149 – 24:08.5) who was also making her first appearance on the famous Franklin Park course. There were 229 total runners in the race.
